August 19, 2016 update: With just a few weeks to go until the introduction of the iPhone 7, the news bubbling about serves mostly to bolster or discount longstanding rumors rather than present new ones.
Case in point: Japanese site Mac Otakara is refuting reports that Apple will extend its portfolio by adding an "iPhone 7 Pro" model to the entry-level iPhone 7 and super-sized iPhone 7 Plus. Leaked photos published last month on Nowhereelse.frappeared to show three such models but, according to Mac Otakara's sources, it seems that Apple will stick with two editions of the iPhone 7.
